Meet the Squad: Midfield

Henry Muggeridge
Our 26-year-old captain joined the Hawks in June 2018 from Crowborough Athletic, where his Father is first-team manager. Henry was a youth player at Fulham and then had a year as a pro at Bristol City before playing for Charlton Athletic, Tonbridge Angels and Lewes. He immediately made his mark with nine assists in his first ten games, as well as scoring a hat- trick in the final game of last season against Corinthian-Casuals.

JP Kissock
JP re-signed for the Hawks in January 2019 from Welling United and was appointed assistant manager in May. The 29-year old is a former England schoolboy international and spent 12 years of his early career at Everton before being released in 2009. He made 42 appearances for the Hawks in the 2014-15 season, when we reached the play-off final for the National League. He has also played for Hamilton Academical, Luton Town, Macclesfield Town, Ebbsfleet United and Southport.

Lewis Unwin
20-year old Lewis signed for the Hawks from Crowborough Athletic in October 2018. As a youth player he represented Kent FA and Kent Schools. He made his first team debut in the Sussex County Cup against Eastbourne Town in October and his full league debut at Margate in December.

Rob Deda
Brighton born 18-year old Rob made his first team debut in 2017 in the Sussex Senior Cup. He sustained a serious injury that kept him out of football for the first half of last season but made his comeback from the bench against Worthing in January 2019. Rob was a member of the England FA Schools squad in 2018.

Luke Emberson
A Brighton born Hawks youth team product, 20-year old Luke was skipper of the treble winning U18 team. He signed senior terms in July 2017 but missed most of the season with injury. Luke made his full senior debut against Potters Bar Town in the third game of last season and scored his first goal against Wingate & Finchley. He is currently studying at Loughborough University.

David Martin
34-year old Dave is now in his second spell with the Hawks, having made 42 appearances in 2015-16. His six goals included one in the FA Cup victory over Lincoln City. The Erith born left-winger began as a youth player at Brighton & Hove Albion before playing in the football ​league for Crystal Palace, Millwall, Derby County and Southend United. Dave has also played for Luton Town, Stevenage, Bromley, Margate and most recently Eastbourne Borough.
