Whitehawk FC launch TV show: “Football, community, culture – everything that’s good about this amazing city.”
Whitehawk Football Club in association with Time Bomb Productions and Latest TV are delighted to announce a new, weekly half-hour show, to be broadcast on Brighton’s local channel Latest TV, starting tonight (Friday) at 7pm.
Called Hawks Over Brighton, the show will feature match day action and fan reaction from the TerraPura Ground, as well as celebrate the city’s amazing people; businesses, community groups, LGBTQ+ culture, and some of the best music, style, art and fashion that this amazing city has to offer.
The first episode features a documentary on Whitehawk FC from international broadcasters Optus Sport, music from local singer/ songwriter Jenna Bennett, and match and fan reaction from the last home Hawks game – the first home game of the season against Sevenoaks Town.
The show will also be repeated on Sunday’s at 3pm.
Hawks Head of Commercial & Marketing Kevin Miller said;
“We have been talking to Bill [Smith, head of Latest TV] for a while about putting something together, because we wanted to tell the city about the club, how its changing, the good things that both the club and the amazing fans are doing, and to champion as many people in the city as possible who, like all of us, are trying to find a way to get through the current climate”
“The show is about the Whitehawk and Brighton communities, and over the weeks we’ll highlight the businesses that need our help, the musicians and the artists who can’t get gigs right now, the community workers who are doing an incredible job in their own communities, and most of all the Whitehawk FC players and fans who make it so special. Hawks over Brighton is broadcast every Friday at 7pm, repeated on Sunday’s at 3pm from tonight (October 16)
