STAND UP FOR WHITEHAWK 2022!

Amazing Acts Feature In A Superb Night of Music & Comedy Supporting The East Brighton Food Co-Op

Whitehawk Football Club, in association with Made in Whitehawk, The Crew Club, Brighton and Hove City Council, The Chalk Cliff Trust, The Future is Unwritten and The Arts Council England, present an incredible night of music and comedy on Thursday, December 15 from 6:30pm!

Stand Up For Whitehawk is the second night of exceptional talent presented at the Hawk’s Clubhouse – the first occurred in 2019 – and showcases local talent, as well as support from some of the most popular comedians in the country.

Featuring, ‘The Crew Club Comics’, a group of young people who have been working in partnership with Made In Whitehawk to become budding ‘stand-up comedians’, Aneesa Chaudhry and The Brighton Choir, the superb stand-up comedian Victoria Melody, Writer, speaker, actor, broadcaster & photographer. LGBT & mental health campaigner Sophie Cook, the club’s adopted band, The Whitehawk Isolators, and two legends of the British Alternative Comedy Circuit – Attilla The Stockbroker and Mr. Mark Thomas!

The night is in aid of the East Brighton Food Co-Op – A not for profit Community Interest Company working hard to provide nutritious meals to communities across Brighton & Hove. They also offer cookery classes, lunch clubs, volunteer, training & employment opportunities as well as bringing enjoyable, nutritional, educational events to the local area, putting in place the infrastructure needed to make sure the people who live here can enjoy cooking and eating healthy food.

The event takes place on Thursday, December 15 from 6:30, and is FREE!

Kevin Miller, the club’s Head of Commercial & Marketing said, “Our first Stand up for Whitehawk event was incredible, but its taken three years to get the second one in place. It has been a huge effort and we couldn’t have done it without the team from Made In Whitehawk, Paul Hodson and Lisa Wolfe!”

He Added, “To persuade Mark Thomas and Attilla to do 20 minutes each is fantastic, but to embrace the Hawks’ Community and encompass all that we believe in as a Football Club was even more special. I look forward to welcoming all those who attend, and hope that they support what is an incredible Charity!”

Tickets are FREE, and are available on a first come, first served basis. To reserve your ticket click HERE
