Whitehawk will host Isthmian South Central side Ascot United in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.

‘The Yellas’ are much accustomed to playing Sussex sides this season, with this their third following a narrow FA Cup defeat to Lewes, before a 6-2 thrashing of Lancing on Saturday advanced them to this round of the FA Trophy.

Winners of last season’s FA Vase, this is Ascot’s first season in the Isthmian Leagues after what was a quite brilliant campaign for them last time around, capped with a 1-0 Wembley win over holders Newport Pagnell Town.

This is the Hawks’ first FA Trophy tie of the campaign, and will look to build upon last season’s exit at the hands of Folkestone Invicta, also in the Third Qualifying Round.

Ties to be played on the weekend of October 7, with a confirmed date to be announced in due course.
