Isthmian League

Club Statement – League Suspension

Today, Tuesday 17th March, the Isthmian League has advised that the Isthmian Premier, North, South Central and South East Divisions will remain suspended until April 3rd due to the current COVID-19 (or Coronavirus) pandemic. This will mean our Away future at Herne Bay (21st March) and Home fixtures against Guernsey (28th March) and Chichester (31st March) will all be postponed. A large number of U18 fixtures will also be postponed. Owing to the current uncertainty surrounding the suspension, no new dates will be arranged for these fixtures yet.

Fixtures from April 4th onwards will remain listed as scheduled on our website, though owing to the fluidity of the situation there is a chance these may also not be played.

Naturally as a club we hope we can resume our Isthmian South East and Isthmian Youth South Division fixtures as soon as possible however in an unprecedented situation such as the one we find ourselves in now, football takes a back seat as there are much bigger things at stake.

All at Whitehawk FC urge not just supporters of the Hawks, but everyone, to heed advice issued by the NHS and UK government at this time. If you are showing symptoms of COVID-19 including a high temperature or a new, continuous cough then you are advised to self-isolate for 7 days and NOT visit a Hospital, GP or Pharmacy. You also do not need to call NHS 111 for this.
