Hawks legends turn out for superb lockdown evening with fans.

Some of the most iconic moments in the 75 years of Whitehawk Football Club were revisited last night, as three of the infamous 2015/16 FA Cup run team joined fans on a very special zoom event.

Former Hawks players – Sergio Torres, Danny Mills and Jordan Rose were joined on the night by fellow team members Nick Arnold and Craig Ross, as they told some of the stories and escapades from the Hawks superb FA Cup run, narrowly missing out of a history-making third round clash with Everton at Goodison Park.

Long-standing Hawks fans who were there through the season were joined by new fans, and the players regailed stories that can only be told long after they happened!

The event was organised by the Club’s Members Secretary, Simon Stevens, ably assisted by fellow Hawks fan Kay Stringer.

After the event, Simon said:

“It was great to have these legends give up their time for the fans … a lot is said about footballers being selfish and greedy but the love that these players have for WhitehawkFC was evident in abundance … Hopefully we can put on more zoom events like this whilst there’s no football “

The club would like to thank Sergio, Jordan, Danny Nick and Craig, for giving up their time to treat the Hawks fans to a very special evening.

The event also raised money for the Donate A Ticket fund, where the Hawks are currently battling against National League side Woking, the club that raises the most in £5 ‘ticket’ donations goes through the next round.

Closing date for the first round is tomorrow (Sunday, June 28), and if you would like to donate just £5, simply click HERE
