Hawks add Tom Chalaye to ranks

Shaun Saunders has bolstered his attacking options with the addition of 21-year-old Tom Chalaye.

A product of Aldershot’s Academy, Chalaye was snapped up by Worthing back in 2019, with the striker making his Worthing debut as a substitute at Bowers & Pitsea in November 2019, scoring his first senior goal on the same night.

And after a successful spell at Pagham that spawned 16 goals, his Worthing career concluded with a move to Burgess Hill Town.

From Burgess Hill to Bognor Regis, Chalaye then spent some time with Chichester City before heading back to Nyewood Lane where he scored six goals for the West Sussex club last season.

Chalaye heads straight into the squad for Saturday’s forthcoming fixture with Dulwich Hamlet.
