Hawks add Tom Cadman and Jack Dixon to ranks
Shaun Saunders has bolstered his squad for the forthcoming season with the additions of Tom Cadman and Jack Dixon from Haywards Heath Town and Hastings United respectively.
Centre-half Tom Cadman returns to The Enclosed Ground after spending time in the Hawks’ backline during the 2017/18 season, and played under Saunders at Haywards Heath Town.
Strong in the air and a defender who has the ability to put the ball in the back of the net, Cadman started life with Brighton’s Academy before a loan move to East Grinstead preceded his move to the Hawks. Spells at Worthing, Burgess Hill Town and Haywards Heath Town followed ahead of his most recent move back to East Brighton Park.
And as for Jack Dixon, well, the former Hastings United captain spent six seasons at Pilot Field, racking up umpteen appearances on his way to writing himself into the club’s folklore.
A roving central midfielder, Dixon has the ability to take games away from opponents single-handedly, with the 32-year old taking his game to Whitehawk.
Formerly of Rye United, Eastbourne Town, Lewes and Dulwich Hamlet, Dixon has impressed everywhere he has gone, and is an exciting addition to Saunders’ midfield.
Cadman and Dixon become the fourth and fifth latest signings respectively, following Ben Pope, Ryan Worrall and Javaun Splatt to the club.
