Dome-Bemwin flies in

Hawks have signed globetrotting midfielder Micheal Dome-Bemwin, 25, after he finished last season in Sweden with IFK Eskilstuna.

Born in London, Micheal started in US College football before playing in Spain, Peru, Mexico and Cyprus in addition to spells at two clubs in Sweden. In between his globe-trotting, Micheal had a season and a half with Lewes in the Isthmian Premier League.

Ross Standen is delighted to have the player on board after his years overseas: “Micheal contacted me and said he was back in England and looking to play football again. He was a star performer in the time he had with us at Lewes in the Isthmian Premier. I am sure he’ll make a difference to the current squad, as he’s very tenacious, good on the ball and very fit. He’s someone who will work his socks off for the good of the team and help bring success to the club.”

Micheal’s international clearance has come through and he goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s game at Faversham Town.
