Worrall makes Whitehawk switch

Ryan Worrall has become the second player to join the Hawks from Hastings United, following the arrival of Ben Pope yesterday afternoon.

Another long-serving member of the Hastings squad, Worrall spent four successful seasons at The Pilot Field, helping the club earn promotion alongside Pope at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.

A roving midfield maestro, Worrall’s career began with Eastbourne Borough before spells at Tonbridge Angels and Horsham later ensued.

He then spent 15 months in New Zealand, playing a season with Tasman United until a return to Sussex beckoned, with Hastings United calling his name.

And that was at the start of the 2019/20 season, where four seasons brought promotion and consolidation ahead of his move along the coast to East Brighton Park.
