Ross McNeilly has moved quickly in securing his first signature since arriving as manager as former Lancing midfielder, Andrew Briggs, agrees to join the Hawks.

Playing under new Assistant Manager David Altendorff for The Lancers last season, Briggs was a crucial component in the core of a midfield that achieved an excellent 6th place finish, narrowly missing out on the Isthmian South East play-offs.

In 43 matches last season he found the back of the net on nine occasions, whilst collecting 12 assists in the process on his way to scooping both the Supporters and Coaches’ Player of the Season.
