Alfie played in both treble and double winning Hawks youth teams under Jude Macdonald after starting at Lewes. In 2015-16 he made 41 appearances for Haywards Heath Town. Alfie joined Horsham in January 2017 and scored a hat-trick at Chatham Town in March, becoming the youngest player, at 17, ever to do so in the Isthmian League. He spent last season on a soccer scholarship in the US, playing briefly for Saltdean United over the Christmas period, before re-signing for the Hawks in July 2019.

Alfie scored a last minute winner at the City Ground Nottingham for Sussex in the Schools U16 National Final in 2016, playing alongside Fintan Walsh.

Alfie joined South Park on loan in September 2019.
