Tighe and Wilson Leave The Hawks

The Hawks can today confirm that Connor Tighe and Reed Wilson have left the club.

Forward Connor has joined fellow Isthmian South East side Burgess Hill Town after an approach by The Hillians. He joined the Hawks for the third time in October 2018 and went onto make 59 appearances, scoring 11 goals with the most memorable coming away at Harlow Town in the Isthmian Premier League in February 2019 where he came on as a substitute to score 2 sensational goals with his first 3 touches of the ball. On Connor’s departure, Ross said “We had an approach by Burgess Hill for Connor and he wanted to leave for a fresh start and also to play somewhere where he would get more of an opportunity to play regularly”

Defender Reed joined the Hawks prior to the start of the 20/21 season as a squad player for the Hawks to provide depth in defence but following recent additions to the side, playing opportunities would be hard to come by.

Manager Ross Standen finished by saying “We thank both Connor and Reed for their service and efforts for the club during their respective spells here. We wish them all the very best for the future”.
