Three new Hawks arrive

In his post-match comments last time out, Shaun Saunders mentioned that he’d have a busy week ahead of him. Yesterday evening it was announced that three new faces had arrived at The Enclosed Ground, further bolstering the squad ahead of today’s hosting of Beckenham Town.

Samuel Egole, full-back, spent time with Billericay Town when they were a National League South side. Also featuring for Margate, Carshalton Athletic, St Ives Town and Biggleswade Town, Egole brings a wealth of experience and a friendly smile to The Enclosed Ground.

Michael Fernandes, winger, arrives with a glistening CV for this level. The 23-year-old joins from National League South side Farnborough, where he has made a number of appearances this season. Previously of Colchester Utd, Dartford and Leatherhead, Fernandes is an exciting talent and one to keep an eye on in future.

And finally, Khris Oti, striker, formerly of Brackley Town, Coggeshall United and Brightlingsea Regent joins to strengthen the frontline and should also slip straight into this afternoon’s squad. He’s quick, scores goals and will prove a handful for defences as he steams into Whitehawk looking to reignite our goal scoring prowess.

We warmly welcome Sam, Michael and Khris to the club.
