JP re-signed for the Hawks in January 2019 from Welling United and was appointed assistant manager in May. He is a former England schoolboy international and spent 12 years of his early career at Everton, featuring on the bench in the Premier League without ever playing, before being released in 2009. While at Goodison, JP broke Wayne Rooney’s record as the youngest player to appear for Everton’s reserve team. JP has also been capped for England C and played under our former manager Steve King at both Macclesfield and Welling.

JP made 42 appearances for the Hawks in the 2014-15 season, when we reached the play-off final for the National League.
