NEW SIGNING: Javaun Splatt
The Hawks have signed young striker, Javaun Splatt from Tonbridge Angels. Splatt featured over a dozen times for the Angels last season, having joined them from Derby County.
Speaking on signing Splatt, manager Ross Standen said “We are delighted to sign on Javaun as another forward into our squad & bring competition to the forward position. We were made aware of him via Omarr Lawson & also Steve McKimm – manager at Tonbridge angels who Javaun played for last season in the National League South – spoke very highly of him. Javaun started within the highly regarded Dulwich Hamlet youth team before being signed by Derby County. Javaun is a young lad who wants to return to the pro game, someone who showed a great attitude when speaking with him and in the first few training sessions we have seen him in. A great size giving us another option to our forward line, very mobile and with great work rate alongside great strength & technical ability will see him be a big asset to the club and we look forward to working with him!”
