Luke Glover becomes the eighth new addition of the Spring under Shaun Saunders after the goalkeeper’s departure from Eastbourne Borough.
Glover, a talented young shot-stopper, spent the whole of the 2019/20 campaign with Saunders as Haywards Heath Town #1 before finalising a move to the National League South side during the pandemic.
But he was unable to fully break into the Borough starting XI, being cover to their previous incumbent of the net, Franco Ravizzoli, before suffering an injury that set him back for the 2021/22 season
Glover has accomplished what so many ‘keepers dream of doing: scoring in the opposition net. On October 12th, 2019 Glover did just that against Bracknell Town in the FA Trophy with two minutes to go to seal The Blues’s place in the next round.
With excellent experience and a commanding voice, Glover joins up with some of his ex-teammates as Saunders looks to stamp his authority on the league.
