The Hawks’ six game win streak has been put on hold, not by an opposition team – but by the weather.

On Tuesday evening, heavy rain put pay to our already rearranged Isthmian League South East fixture against Whyteleafe being played as the pitch at The TerraPura Ground, which generally copes with heavy rain well, could not deal with the deluge. This fixture will now be played on Tuesday 28th January 2020 with a 7.45pm Kickoff.

On Saturday, our following league fixture Away to Sittingbourne was also postponed. An early pitch inspection was called by the hosts after their match against leaders Hastings United on Tuesday evening left the pitch in an unplayable state. Unfortunately it was not able to recover in time, but we’re grateful to The Brickies for giving advance warning and postponing the game in good time. This game will now be played on Tuesday 21st January 2020 with a 7.45pm Kickoff.

The Hawks will return to action on Tuesday evening (17th December) Away against East Grinstead Town, this game has a 7.30pm Kickoff at The GAC Stadium.
