Charlie Qualter: Head Shave

Back in July Charlie, who had just been appointed bar manager at Whitehawk Football Club, was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer.

In the hope of raising awareness, Charlie will be shaving her head at half-time of the Whitehawk v Hythe Town game this coming Saturday (12th November), at around 3.45pm.

The five year survival rate for Stage 3 and above is marked at less than 10%, a statistic that has not improved in the past 40 years. Research into the disease is seriously underfunded, so any money raised will go a long way into researching and, one day, eradicating it as a whole.

Everyone at Whitehawk extends their best wishes to Charlie at what must be a deeply daunting and uncertain time. We are committed to Charlie’s cause, and would like to present you with her JustGiving page (link below) as she hopes to reach a minimum target of £500.
