Shaun Saunders has added to his Whitehawk squad with the signing of former Hartley Wintney midfielder, Adam Allen.

An experienced, powerful presence in the centre of the pitch, Allen was previously with Sutton Common Rovers until moving up a division to the Southern League South Division upon joining ‘The Row’ last October.

Proficient with the ball at his feet and clinical in front of goal, Allen brings a burst of energy and goalscoring ability to a midfield that now consists of Charlie Harris, Ryan Warwick, Callum Saunders and Helge Orome.

Allen becomes the 17th name to be announced as a Hawk since the end of last season, as this replenished squad nears completion 19 days before the first kicks of pre-season.
