I just wanted to say a massive thank you to our squad, Jude our manger, his team, officials and all the fans that made the long journey to Guernsey over the weekend.
I can honestly say it was one of the best footballing experiences that I have ever had, our players and coaches were a credit to our club and our fans who made the journey in large numbers were absolutely outstanding ( as always ) and received applause from our amazing Guernsey FC hosts and their fans.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank some of our Guernsey FC hosts and in particular, Nigel Braybrook who met us at Gatwick and looked after us throughout our journey, Mark Le Tissier ( Chairman ) who hosted us throughout and Tony Vance ( Team Manager ) , who along with Mark even managed to find the time to run us around in their own cars before the game, their warmth and hospitality was well beyond our expectations.
To sum up, being part of the Guernsey experience, along with our players , officials and most of all our fans makes me feel very proud to be part of this amazing football club.
