Charlie re-signed for the Hawks in July 2022 after 8 appearances in an earlier spell on dual registration from Eastbourne Borough in October 2021.

Charlie, who was a right back earlier in his career, played in the Peacehaven side that knocked the Hawks out of the Sussex Senior Cup 3-1 at the Enclosed Ground in December 2019. His performance in that competition in the semi-final against Eastbourne Borough earned him a move to the Sports.
