Whitehawk FC are today (Friday 4th March) able to confirm that Midfielder Sam Deering has left The Hawks and has signed for National League South Leaders Ebbsfleet United, for an undisclosed fee. Terms between The Hawks and The Fleet had been agreed on Thursday, with personal terms between Deering and Ebbsfleet agreed on Friday.

Sam made 75 appearances for The Hawks, scoring 28 goals in the process and all at the club thank him for his efforts whilst in Brighton and we wish him luck for the future.

As part of the deal, we are pleased to welcome back Defender Craig Braham-Barrett and Midfielder Michael West who both rejoin The Hawks on loan until the end of the season. Both are also available for selection along with Sam Rents, who signed earlier in the week from Margate FC, by Pablo Asensio for Saturday’s National League South fixture against Bishop’s Stortford.
