Manager: Jimmy Dack
|Name||Manager: Jimmy Dack|
Jimmy was brought to the club by previous manager Andy Woodman as Assistant Manager in February 2017 and was appointed First Team Manager in June 2017 following the departure of Woodman. Jimmy began his football career as a trainee at Brentford and played as a Midfielder. After his release, he spent his career in non-league football, featuring for clubs such as Aldershot Town, Sutton United (29 appearances), Farnborough (41 appearances) and Crawley Town (93 appearances and 16 goals). He retired in 2003 and became a coach at Carshalton Athletic. Following spells with Stevenage, Sutton United, Welling United and Woking, Jimmy joined up with Justin Edinburgh to become his assistant manager at then-Conference side Newport County. During his spell at Newport, they won promotion to the Football League after a 2-0 win over Wrexham in the Playoff Final at Wembley, ending a 25 year absence from the Football League and they finished in a respectable 14th position in their first season back.
He was initially appointed Caretaker Manager at Newport County in February 2015 after Justin Edinburgh left to join Gillingham, but three weeks later he was confirmed as Manager until the end of the season. He led The Exiles to a 9th place finish, before deciding to leave them at the end of the season. Shortly after Jimmy became Assistant Manager to Mark Yates at Crawley Town, before leaving in April 2016.
