Defender Kodi Lyons-Foster joined the Hawks in January 2018 after being released by Aldershot Town, where he made six appearances in the National League.

Kodi played six times on loan from the Shots earlier in the season and scored his first goal against Bath City in November. Although his loan was extended, he was immediately recalled to the Recreation Ground, to be part of the first-team squad.

Kodi joined Aldershot in August 2017 following a successful trial. A former England Under 16 international, he is a graduate of the Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa academies and joined Bristol City in June 2016 after leaving Villa. In February 2017 he spent trial periods with League of Ireland Premier Division Derry City as well as Colchester United.

Kodi’s younger brother Brooklyn plays for Tottenham’s U21 side and has appeared for England U17.
