Forward Ermal Hajdari signed for The Hawks in October 2017 after playing for a season at Tasman United in New Zealand.

Ermal began his career in his native Sweden at third tier side Kristianstad before earning himself a professional contract with FCI Tallinn of the Estonian premier league after 7 months at the Nike Academy. In the 2015-2016 season, Hajdari scored 6 times in 26 matches to help FCI Tallinn reach the Europa League qualifying rounds for the first time in their history.

He scored his first goals for The Hawks in a 6-0 Sussex Senior Cup win over Eastbourne Town in October 2017.
