The popular David Ijaha made his return to the Hawks in September 2017 after leaving Wealdstone. The 27-year old had enjoyed a two-year spell with the Hawks from 2014-2016, where he helped the TerraPura Ground outfit reach back-to-back play-offs.
He began his career at Chelsea’s academy and also spent time on the books at Wolverhampton Wanderers, joining Whitehawk for the first time from Tonbridge Angels. Ijaha left the Hawks in the summer of 2016 to join League Two side Plymouth Argyle, where he worked alongside Pilgrims assistant manager Craig Brewster, who he had worked with during his time with the Sussex club.
Upon his release over the summer, Ijaha joined fellow National League South side Wealdstone before rejoining the Hawks.
