The Hawks will make the short trip up the A23 on Tuesday evening (10th January) to take on Sky Bet League Two side Crawley Town in the Sussex Senior Cup Quarter Finals.
The Hawks will be looking to repeat what happened the last time they took on Crawley in the competition after a thumping 6-1 against The Red Devils at The Enclosed Ground in January 2015. That match also took place at the Quarter Final stage of the competition. The most recent meeting between the sides was during pre-season in 2015 with The Hawks running out 2-1 winners in a Friendly at Home.
The game would have been a return to Crawley for Hawks Captain Sergio Torres, however he has been ruled out of the match following a leg injury sustained in the 1-0 defeat Away at Chelmsford City on Saturday.
The match on Tuesday will kick-off at 7.45PM at the Checkatrade Stadium. Only the West Stand at the Stadium will be open for the fixture and admission for the match is as follows –
Adults £5, Concessions £2, Under 11s £1
Hawks fans travelling to the match by train should note that there are NO Southern Rail services running across the entire network on Tuesday 10th January due to RMT/ASLEF Strike Action. This will mean that the closest station to the ground, Crawley, will be closed. Thameslink services will be operating as normal from Brighton to Three Bridges, the next closest station. From Three Bridges, catch the Fastway 20 bus straight to the stadium.
